Spring sunshine, blue sandals, and a trip to the local farm stand. Aren’t you glad winter is OVER?

Oh spring. I love you so! Our local farm stand always closes between January and the start of spring produce….and it opened up a couple weeks back. Our weekly routine? A quick stop on the way home from work and school. We visit the animals (Lydia LOVES seeing the baby goats and chickens), we pick up fresh tomatoes and strawberries, and enjoy some fresh air. I’m so glad that this family owned business is thriving, and that our community is so supportive of it!
Our list of spring activities is long. Anything involving fresh air and the outdoors. From farm stands to picnics to beach days to exploring new playgrounds……Lydia is JUST old enough to enjoy day trips. Now can we talk Mommy and Me style for a second? These shoes. Adorable right? Lydia is at the age where she wants everything to be “matching”. EVERYTHING. And when we match? She’s over the moon. These blue sandals and blue mary janes were perfect accessories for our sundresses, and bonus? They’re a KILLER price (thank you Payless)! My favorite part about this picture? We have one of Lydia in the SAME spot ten months ago…..and I can’t believe how much she’s grown! So mamas, is it warming up in your neck of the woods? Are you pulling your favorite blue sandals out of the closet too? What spring and summer activities are you looking forward to this year?
