It's almost March, temperatures are staring to warm……and Easter is on the horizon. Can you believe it's already time for bunnies and eggs? Now that Lydia's old enough to really enjoy Easter……I've been all excited, planning some fun family easter activities. (BTW, don't close this post before getting to the end…..see this adorable outfit AND bunny? We're giving a bunny and an Easter dress / headband set away to one family!)10 Easter Activities for Families:
– prepare Easter baskets for children that may not get them (ask at your local children's hospital or police station for places to donate)……include gift cards for groceries for their parents!
-plant an Easter garden, pick flowers that bloom early in the spring around Easter (like daffodils)
-go on a bunny hunt! Visit your local zoo to see the bunnies…..perfect timing!
-create your own Easter decorations (I love this paint chip banner…..)
-in honor of Easter being a time of renewal, visit your local NICU and bring hats or blankets for the babies….
-plant and grow your own Easter Grass…….
-plan a neighborhood easter egg hunt
-volunteer to serve Easter brunch to those in need
-take Easter portraits of your little ones in advance, so that you can send personalized cards to their grandparents
