Thank you to Playskool and SocialStars for partnering with us for today's post. #PLAYSKOOLCREW
Dinners out, visits to other people's homes…..before having Lydia I had no idea what a challenge those events could be! Toddlers love to MOVE and they need to be entertained. The best piece of advice my mom gave me when I had Lydia was to be prepared. I remember when I was little she brought a giant bag of activities everywhere we went. And, guess what? We were always pretty well behaved. So my goal? Bring activities with us. It's helped a TON. Lydia is happy and well behaved when out and about, plus it's more enjoyable for us.Over the next few months, we are teaming up with Playskool to share some of our favorite toys……and today, Lydia is showing her love for the compact toys that we bring along when heading out into the world!
Lydia is a stacking machine. She loves blocks and anything she can build a tower from. However, blocks take up a TON of space when you're on the go. Playskool's Stack ‘n Stow Cups are the perfect solution for little builders, and have been in our diaper bag since the day they arrived on our doorstep. These colorful cups feature fun cut-out shapes, and are perfect to practice colors while waiting for food when eating out. The cups nest inside each other for easy storage, and that stacking? GREAT for Lydia's fine motor skills. Playskool‘s Fold ‘n Go Busy Elephant is the perfect on the go toy for infants and toddlers. Lydia is elephant obsessed, and carried this one around the house for hours. She was super attracted to the bright colors and loved manipulating all the pieces. For younger babies? It's a perfect on the go tummy time mat! Do you pack on the go toys for your little ones? What suggestions do you have to keep your kiddos happy and occupied when out and about?
