The City of Angels…..we’re well known for the Sunset Strip, the studios, great beaches, glitz and glamour…..but LA with a family? Not REALLY what we’re famous for. So, now that Lydia is old enough to actually go on day trips…..we’re on a mission to find family friendly activities here in our hometown. Last weekend, we visited one of my new favorite museums in Downtown Los Angeles……the Japanese American National Museum to check out their Hello Kitty Exhibit.
Kids, or no kids…..this exhibit was a blast! Lydia ran around meowing the whole time, she’s in an obsessed with animals phase….so loved seeing her favorite cat everywhere she looked.
The Hello Kitty exhibit was organized as part of Hello Kitty’s 40th-anniversary, the exhibit explores the history of Hello Kitty and her influence on popular culture…….it’s colorful, and a ton of fun! Plus, everyone that worked at the museum was super friendly….which is always a win when bringing a toddler to a new spot.Lydia’s Hello Kitty Shirt c/o Shirts.com
