It’s #LCToddlerMeals time again, and I can’t believe how much fun I’m having with this series! I love getting feedback and tips from mommies all over Instagram…..and have tried out some great new meal ideas as a result.
Topic of discussion today? Picky eaters. Lydia tends to be on the picky eater end of things. She’s very particular about her likes and dislikes, and a lot of food get dropped on the floor. I’ve seen a lot of chatter in Instagram about how to deal with picky eaters. Do you give different options during meals? Do you serve what you serve and that’s it? Not totally sure we’ve found the answer….but we’re trying to find a middle ground. Lydia is very small for her age, so it’s important that she eats. Skipping meals isn’t really good for her health. So, I try to introduce new foods as often as possible…..we’re trying not to get into a rut with the same few foods. For each meal, we offer Lydia one or two of her favorites and then something new.
Just a reminder…….#LCToddlermeals isn’t just for Lydia’s meals…….I love seeing what your little ones’ eat….so join in! Each week, I’m sharing Lydia’s and my favs on Instagram, and teaming up with some of our favorite companies to give a few of your families some pretty amazing prizes!
This month’s #LCtoddlermeals sponsor is one of my favorites. In fact, a lot of you have been asking about their divided plates on Instagram. Re-Play is an amazing company that makes their products from recycled products (like milk jugs). Their divided plates, cups, utensils, and snack stacks are colorful, dishwasher safe, and perfect for toddler meals!
