This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and DripDrop®, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #DrinkDripDrop #DripDropHydrates http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that Lydia got the stomach flu a couple weekends ago. It came on out of nowhere, and it WASN’T pretty. She couldn’t keep food or liquid down for most of a day, and of course…..hubby was at work for the day. Thank goodness, I’m one of the last of my friends to have kids……and I actually listened to experienced mommies. I made a streamlined list of all the things mommies suggested keeping on hand in our toddler first aid kit…..and let me tell you, I’ve used just about all of them at some point! Keep reading, cause I created a printable version for y’all…..and trust…..you’ll be happy you stocked your own toddler first aid kit!
– DripDrop Hydration Powder : I picked this up recently in the baby aisle at CVS after a friend recommended it….the best part about it? It’s great for helping the entire family (including babies age one and older) hydrated and treating mild to moderate dehydration. After Lydia’s stomach bug, she guzzled DripDrop like a champ. She loved the lemon flavor, and it really helped to rehydrate her and get her back to her normal self. I love how easy the packets are to store, and we have a couple in our diaper bag now in case of sickness emergencies or for the eventual hot summer days!
– digital thermometer : I HATED taking Lydia’s temperature. Babies don’t exactly love it either. It took forever, and was a huge production. Our digital no touch thermometer has been a game changer. It takes under a minute, and is painless for all of us.
-liquid pain reliever : We are currently in teething town. It’s not fun. I mean, would you like to feel teeth cutting through your gums? Lydia’s usually fine during the day, and does well with teething rings and toys. We do give her liquid pain reliever on the nights her teeth are actually cutting through….and it helps a TON. I’d suggest having some on hand for teething and in case of fevers.
