Lydia is in an obsessed with books stage. In fact, she yells “babababaaaaaaaa!” at the top of her lungs when they’re out of reach. A good problem to have, right? As a teacher, it makes me proud. However, after approximately a million read alouds……every adult in our family was getting pretty sick of our library collection. BabyLit came along at just the right time!
BabyLit Books are board book versions of classic literature. These colorful books teach counting using characters and objects from Romeo and Juliet and colors using items from the Wizard of Oz. Lydia is OBSESSED. They’re sturdy (thank goodness), and she loves the bright colors. She can spot objects she is familiar with (dogs, flowers) and has learned a couple new words from each book already. She loves reading them independently or sharing with us.
They’re awesome, and have definitely been added to my list of go to baby shower gifts!
I’m teaming up with BabyLit to expand some other early reader’s library……enter below to win three books for your own little one’s collection.
Thank you to BabyLit for sponsoring today’s post. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog and our family.
