[…] No Sew Burlap Valentine Pillow | Sparkling Citrus Sangria […]
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dr Pepper Snapple Group for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
It's Mommy Juice time again, and this sparkling citrus sangria disappeared quickly during taste testing! Mommy Juice is quickly becoming my favorite series. Easy, tasty drinks you can whip up without a bartending course? A total win! Not gonna lie, I'm pretty sure our friends love this series the most. I mean, someone has to test all the drinks.
Tis the season to be……sparkling! As the holidays speed on, I'm already thinking about sparkling, fun cocktails for New Year's Eve and then recreating them for spring festivities. I love a light, sparkling cocktail! For this Mommy Juice post, I decided to create a sparkling citrus sangria……perfect for New Year's cocktail parties. The best part about this? You make it in advance, so no need to mix drinks during the festivities!
Best times to serve this delicious cocktail?
A new year's brunch with a DIY omelette bar and a fresh fruit salad.
A new year's cocktail party along with a cheese platter, dried fruits and cured meats.
Spring bridal showers along with petit fours and finger sandwiches.
Summer BBQs with grilled salmon and a pineapple salad.
(all available at Safeway….gotta love one stop shopping!)
1 bottle of chilled white wine
1 2 liter bottle of 7Up
3 cups of cranberry juice
3 cups of orange juice
chill for 1 hour
garnish with orange slices and orange rinds
Enjoy!
