We eat a lot of hummus in our household.  It’s a little weird actually.  I’m talking a couple tubs a week.  I’m not sure why it took me so long to try making my own.  It was so easy, I doubt we’ll be buying tub after tub at the grocery store!  I love that I could control how spicy it was.hummus

  1. 1 can of garbanzo beans (chick peas)
  2. 1/4 cup olive oil
  3. 2 - 3 tablespoons cumin
  4. 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  5. 2 tablespoons tahini
  1. Pour ingredients into food processor in the following order: tahini, olive oil, cumin, garlic salt, garbanzo beans
  2. Process until smooth.
