We eat a lot of hummus in our household. It’s a little weird actually. I’m talking a couple tubs a week. I’m not sure why it took me so long to try making my own. It was so easy, I doubt we’ll be buying tub after tub at the grocery store! I love that I could control how spicy it was.
- 1 can of garbanzo beans (chick peas)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 - 3 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- Pour ingredients into food processor in the following order: tahini, olive oil, cumin, garlic salt, garbanzo beans
- Process until smooth.
