It’s still a little surreal that we had our baby shower this weekend. I woke up the morning after and realized the next big event is this little girl’s arrival. GULP!
I was amazed by the stunning event that these ladies put together. Each girl represents a special time in my life…..a friend I’ve known since kindergarten, my college roommate (for 3 of the years) who lives way too far away now, my first friend from church, and one of the closest friends I’ve made as an adult. They are all busy, hard working woman with their own lives…..and I was honored that they put so much time aside to plan a beautiful afternoon tea for baby Anderson.
The food? Tea sandwiches, salads, fruit, scones, cupcakes, tea
Games? Guests each decorated a block……when put together they spell out “First Came Love, Then Came You”.
Favors? Tea, bagged and decorated.
The centerpieces were ADORABLE! Mason jars filled with flowers and baby items……plus everyone got their own mason jar with adorable pink straw!
Everyone was joking that they hoped it REALLY is a girl, because it was the pinkest shower ever! Absolutely stunning!
Do we look a little freaked out? It became increasingly real as we opened all these VERY necessary baby items!
Thank you to each and every dear friend and family member who came to celebrate with us!
What is your fav shower / party theme that you’ve seen recently?
Hi, I’m Jessica, and I blog over at J is for Jessica! I’m a new mom to a 5 month old so the fact that Carly is pregnant drew me to her blog instantly! I’m a sucker right now for all things baby. I started my blog as a creative outlet for myself, and I have loved every minute of it. I like to blog about my adventures in new motherhood, personal style, and shopping on a budget! I love meeting new people through blogging so I’d love for you to stop by and tell me a little about yourself!

Jess is giving away a $30 gift card to BaubleBar…….is it wrong that I wanted to keep this one for myself?
